Journaling is a powerful practice - it helps bring clarity and improvement to any area of our lives, in this case, becoming better riders and trainers for our horses.
Imagine being able to look back on several months worth of your journal entries, re-living all the great sessions, breakthroughs in learning, and just fun times with your horse. Picture yourself smiling when you read about the challenges or problems you were facing, knowing that you worked through them and found a solution!
This month, I am creating a new habit of journaling after my training sessions. I look forward to both taking the time to reflect and the benefits that I am confident will come from that thought and reflection!
I would love to have you join me and that's why I have created a new customizeable journal for new members of my Training Journals program. This morning, I worked with my Thoroughbred mare, Promise, and recorded our session. Below, I share both the video as well as the notes I made in my journal as an example of how you can use this tool.
Click play to watch the video, then scroll down to read the notes I made afterwards.
Here is the Journal entry I made after this session with Promise...
You can use this template and the concepts of journaling on your own - I think you will find many benefits to this practice.
However... I'd love to send you one of my printed journals (or digital for international members) for FREE.
The Free Journal is included with a new membership to my Training Journals program - so you can learn and find new training ideas, then record your progress.
More videos of Promise as well as many other horses are available in Training Journals.
When you join Training Journals now, as either a monthly or yearly member, you will get your own customizeable journal for Free.
